Currently working as a freelance designer from my home studio in Bristol, I specialise in a variety of traditional hand embroidery techniques and surface beading, as well as tambour work. From simple stitching to constructing completely new textiles, I work by commission to create thoughtful designs which reflect both current trends, and my client’s own brief.

I believe strongly in slow fashion, making beautiful things to last and repairing wherever possible. I love to use vintage textiles and beads in my work and try to source them as often as possible. It’s really satisfying for me to be able to re-purpose and re-style existing things, which were once loved, giving them new life.

I was raised in Sussex, and studied Design for Fashion and Textiles at The University of Portsmouth, before moving to London, to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Since 2013, I have worked with a number of couture fashion studios, including Tom Ford and Anna Valentine, developing my skills both co-ordinating garment production, and designing prints, surface embellishments and embroidery.
